Waterloo Station
Waterloo station, on the south bank of the Thames, is a large place with shopping and connection to the underground and the rail system. It has a beautiful victorian facade and ample space for buses and taxis outside. There is a vast array of two-level bicycle storage racks outside that filled to overflowing with bikes.
Inside, is a no less imposing space with stained glass decorating the upper-level mezzanine.
The place is teaming with people during the evening commute. the wall are filled with enormous video displays showing ads and summarizing the flow of people and trains through the facility. Audi sponsors an interesting display of the statistics.
