The market at Portobello Road in Notting Hill is large, varied, and a fun place to shop and people-watch. On Saturday afternoon, we visited here, taking the bus from Kensal Green. We found, among many other things, a mushroom stand with all sorts of wild and exotic 'shrooms.
There were several stand with lots of silverware, all claiming to sell only antique items. There were folks selling vintage maps and drawings and food vendors of every conceivable type. The stores along the way join in with selling shoes, cheese, and clothes. All-in-all a fine market to explore, and we'll certainly be back.
